Last week we welcomed a group of 4th year Architectural Technologist students from Technological University Dublin to Hibernia Real Estate Group Ltd's Harcourt Square project in Dublin city centre. The students were given an update on the project's progress by our Project Leadership Team, an explanation on the Modern Methods of Construction that are being utilised on-site, as well as a briefing on the Façade with it being one of the first in Europe to utilise 100% post-consumer recycled aluminium. This was followed by a tour of the 44,500m2 site where our Structural Steel frame is nearing completion and the façade works are on-going to several of the building's elevations. This project was completed to the highest standards of sustainability. JV Tierney’s advised on the latest technologies to enable the project to meet its energy performance goals which included photovoltaic panels to provide renewable energy, Air Source Heat Pumps for efficient heating and lighting controls to maximise the use of natural light. Congratulations to both! 👏 During lunchtime, we continued our commitment to growth with a lesson’s learned CPD session, and in the spirit of giving, we contributed to Barnardos Ireland which is a fantastic charity that supports vulnerable children and families.
