Head of Baltic States at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)

Another EBRD milestone in the real estate sector of the Baltics! EUR 20 million invested in partnership with EfTEN Capital, the leading real estate fund in the Baltic States. The Eften Special Opportunities Fund is the first private equity real estate fund in the region with clear focus on assets requiring additional equity or quasi-equity to complete the business plan. Of course, EBRD's involvement means that we will aim achieving high energy efficiency standards. Am particularly proud that the Bank continues strengthening the private equity landscape in the Baltics. Kudos to professional and experienced team at EfTEN led by Viljar Arakas and EBRD's colleagues Oleg Fedulin, CFA Seher Gungor Artyom Baiko, CFA Vlaho Kojakovic Klajd Hasimi Anne Fossemalle for their hard work and support! 🌟 Read more about this exciting investment here: [Link to the article for more details](https://lnkd.in/er8MbDWU)

EfTEN Real Estate Fund will undertake a new share emission in November 2024. For the first time in our history, we will include Latvia and Lithuania into our public offering. Many people have asked me why exactly now when the real estate is not the "coolest kid in the class". I took some time to put down our arguments why there is no better time than now. • Nasdaq listed EfTEN Real Estate Fund AS has completed the third elderly care facility in Estonia in close cooperation with Südamekodud AS. Elderly care facilities are generally outdated in the Baltics. The demand is clearly increasing. Therefore suitable properties needs to be built-up from scratch. Elderly care gives additional diversification next to retail, offices, logistics, governmental and hospitality segments. All those commercial real estate subsectors are represented in EfTEN Real Estate Fund's asset pool. https://lnkd.in/drQdCCyC
