A Journey in Time – Celebrating 30 Years of Timeless Connections   Today, I had the immense honor of attending The Middle East Council of Shopping Centres & Retailers (MECS+R)-anniversary celebration at the iconic Atlantis, The Palm. This remarkable milestone represents the extraordinary journey of retail evolution in the Gulf, and I am deeply proud to have been part of this story since its inception.   As one of the co-founders, it is truly gratifying to witness how MECS+R has grown into a cornerstone for fostering collaboration, innovation, and progress within our industry.   The event was not just a celebration of our achievements but also an inspiring reflection on the milestones we have reached together. It was a pleasure reconnecting and reminiscing about the early days of MECS+R with my fellow co-founders—Phil McArthur, CRX, CSM, CDP , Eisa Adam Ibrahim , and Ali Hasan—alongside so many friends and colleagues who have been instrumental in shaping the success of this journey.
