Last week, Weber Shandwick MENAT proudly hosted the final #ThinkEqual event of the year in our MCN headquarters, in partnership with The Marketing Society. Think Equal is an inspiring initiative aimed at accelerating gender equality and diversity in leadership within the Marcomms industry across the GCC region. ‘The Art & Science of Ethical Persuasion’ was an impactful session that brought together passionate professionals who shared insights, inspired action, and discussed meaningful strategies to achieve equity in leadership roles. New data from a recent survey about the current state of gender diversity in Marcomms leadership across the region was also shared. While there’s still a lot more to do to increase representation of women at leadership level, there is also lots of optimism and momentum. A highlight of the day was a dynamic workshop by Leopold Ajami, a certified trainer on ethical persuasion. His science-based techniques provided actionable tools to empower professionals, ethically influence stakeholders, and accelerate progress towards balanced leadership teams.
