From November 25 to December 10, we are proudly supporting Orange Week, a global movement to combat violence against girls and women. This year, our commitment took on a profound new dimension with the official launch of our partnership with Stand Speak Rise Up!, dedicated to fighting the use of rape as a weapon of war.   The inauguration of this partnership, held this past weekend, was an inspiring event graced by H.R.H. Grande-Duchesse Maria Teresa of Luxembourg, Chékéba Hachemi, and the incredible Survivors, activists, and changemakers supported by Stand Speak Rise Up!. Together with our deeply committed team members we amplified a powerful message of resilience, hope, and solidarity that transcends borders.   Thanks to this initiative, our message will continue to soar long after December 10, spreading awareness and hope across continents. Every flight now becomes a symbol, a reminder that we stand united against violence and for a future where women and girls can live free from fear.   Together, let’s make every journey a message of solidarity.

Violence against women transcends all borders, geographical, social, and demographic. Raising awareness about this reality and mobilizing support are essential to supporting those fighting this critical battle.   In collaboration with Stand Speak Rise Up!, Luxair unveils a special De Havilland Q400 livery, symbolizing hope and resilience for survivors of sexual violence in conflict zones.   This livery, designed by our team, celebrates the diversity and strength of women worldwide, while calling for collective awareness and action. Together, we are stronger to help rebuild lives and create lasting change. Thanks to the H.R.H. Grande-Duchesse Maria Teresa and Chékéba Hachemi for their actions to end rape as a weapon of war.

A huge thank you to lux-Airport, Administration de la Navigation Aérienne, and Reims Air Traffic for their exceptional teamwork and dedication on the evening of November 5th.
