[𝗘𝗡𝗠𝗖 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 — 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳] The European Network of Maritime Clusters (ENMC) held elections to define the new 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀/𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺. The current Chairman of the ENMC, Fabrice MAIRE, has been re-elected to continue his mandate for a second term during this period. Coordination will continue to be ensured by Axelle Salvage, Cluster Manager of the Cluster Maritime Luxembourgeois asbl. 𝐁𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐳𝐳𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐚 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐝𝐢 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐞 Il 28 novembre, presieduto da Mario Mattioli, il Consiglio di amministrazione della Federazione del Mare, all’unanimità ha nominato Consigliere per cooptazione Biagio Mazzotta, presidente di FINCANTIERI e di Assonave, e, su proposta del Presidente Mattioli, Vice presidente della Federazione del Mare. Con tale carica, il presidente di Assonave verrà candidato dalla Federazione del Mare alla vice presidenza di European Network of Maritime Clusters (ENMC) , che terrà la sua Assemblea elettiva il prossimo 10 dicembre. Biagio Mazzotta, inoltre, è stato nominato presidente del Comitato “Inclusione, diversità, parità di genere” che da oggi cambierà la sua denominazione in “Ambiente Società e Governance (#ESG – Environmental, Social and Governance). “La Federazione del Mare - ha affermato Biagio Mazzotta – ha dimostrato di sapersi confrontare con le sfide che caratterizzano questi anni, a cominciare dalla transizione energetica e digitale, e sono certo che saprà porsi obiettivi sempre più ambiziosi.  Con impegno e dedizione ricoprirò il ruolo di vicepresidente e darò il mio contributo affinché la Federazione del Mare continui a parlare con una sola voce anche nel confronto con i rappresentanti istituzionali nazionali ed europei competenti per individuare insieme le migliori soluzioni”. ⚓️ The Cluster Maritime Luxembourgeois asbl attended the 19th edition of the Les Assises de l'économie de la mer. AEM moves to a different region of #France each year, and for the 2024 edition, the gathering of the entire French maritime industry took place in the city of #Bordeaux. 🌊 Bordeaux holds special significance for our Chairman, Fabrice MAIRE — Director of Intershipping, SOCATRA's group, which is based in this Atlantic-facing city. 🎙 The Chairman of Cluster Maritime Français, Nathalie MERCIER-PERRIN, opened the two-day event by participating in the opening roundtable discussion. She emphasized the importance of a harmonized approach at both the national and European levels. She highlighted the role of the European Network of Maritime Clusters (ENMC) in amplifying the voice of the #BlueEconomy, advocating for its recognition as a primary industry, and proactively driving solutions for our sectors. 🎙 The second day began with a presentation by Laurent Bozzoni — CEO of SOCATRA, who shared the recent advancements in velic #innovation. The highlight was the success of the 𝗔𝗹𝗰𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, featuring two rotor sails that enable up to a 21% reduction in fuel consumption per voyage. Luxembourg has made some exciting developments in the maritime industry. The submission of Bill of Law No. 8419 aims to modernise the county’s Maritime Law, focussing on simplifying ship registration processes and enhancing the appeal of the Luxembourg flag. This Bill builds on previous efforts from the Maritime Labour Convention, underscoring Luxembourg’s commitment to a more efficient and attractive maritime framework.
