Is "Dubai Chocolate" more like champagne or a Wiener Schnitzel?   If you've been on social media lately, you’ve probably come across the latest viral sensation: Dubai Chocolate. This allegedly luxurious treat, filled with kadaifi (angel hair) and pistachios, has taken Instagram and TikTok by storm. Beyond the taste and hype, it’s now stirring up some serious questions in trade mark law.   Several parties in Germany have already filed for registration of the term "Dubai Schokolade" as a trade mark with the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (GPTO). But can the term actually be protected?
