👏 Congratulations!!! GlycoUniverse GmbH & Co. KGaA has won the #Brandenburg #InnovationPrize 2024 (Brandenburger Innovationspreis) for the development of the Glyconeer® 3.1! GlycoUniverse GmbH & Co. KGaA is one of the four winners of the Brandenburg Innovation Prize 2024! The award was given for the development and commercialization of the fully automated sugar synthesizer Glyconeer® 3.1. The honor is a huge inspiration for the automation and biotechnology company, which has its production headquarters in the #GOIN Innovation Centre of the Potsdam Science Park. In the biotech industry, sugars (carbohydrate chains) are crucial for the work of vaccine diagnostics and active ingredient companies. With the Glyconeer® 2.1 the GlycoUniverse team have made it possible to produce many complex sugars in less than a day. The main problem with the sugar synthesis machine to date has been its very high price. GlycoUniverse GmbH & Co. KGaA has succeeded in developing a device that is four times faster, four times smaller and significantly easier to operate with the development of the Glyconeer V3.1. The Glyconeer V3.1 is of great importance for the entire field of glycobiotechnology.
