The certification audits conducted by Quality Austria and CIS confirm that we meet international standards with precision and care. It’s a strong signal of quality, reliability, and trust in today’s fast-moving, cross-border business world. ❤️ Empowerment in Unity - Making a Difference Together!   🤝 December 5th marked a special occasion: 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 - A day that reminds us of the powerful impact that volunteer work can have! Under the theme "𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆," our DEI Committee launched a call to action across locations, encouraging everyone to contribute positively to their local communities. 🌍   👏 We want to recognize these special efforts this year and thank all our volunteering colleagues for dedicating their work time and energy to making a difference. We have acquired the Meridian Leasing Corporation, a company based in Chicago, Illinois, and formerly part of Meridian Group International, Inc.     This step further strengthens our position in the U.S., while significantly enhancing our customer portfolio. The U.S. market holds immense potential and presents exciting opportunities for continued growth and expansion.     🗺️ This transaction will also boost further our geographical diversification. Today, 60% of our revenue already comes from outside of our home market Germany, and we remain committed to pursuing growth where our clients require our services and solutions.     🤓 This acquisition brings together what belongs together. In the 1990s, CHG merged with the German subsidiary of Meridian Group International, Inc., laying the foundation for what is now CHG-MERIDIAN. 🤩 Today, we had the pleasure of opening the doors of our CHG-MERIDIAN headquarters in Weingarten for our New Asset Discovery Fair! 🌍💡   Our cafeteria was transformed into a vibrant hub of technology and innovation, showcasing five German companies and their innovative products. Visitors had the chance to engage directly with company representatives and experience the latest developments firsthand. This year, our expert group, including members of the Board of Management, focused on identifying exciting new assets that align with our usage models for portfolio expansion. To facilitate this, we once again organized an elevator pitch session where each company presented its solutions, allowing our expert group to evaluate promising innovations for potential cooperation. 📣   This year’s participants presented a diverse range of technologies, including IoT connectivity solutions, autonomous mobile robots, industrial metaverse applications, exoskeletons for worker support, and automated cleaning systems for retail environments.   Philipp Preuss, our Head of Group Service Design, noted: “This event demonstrates the value of cultivating innovation within our network. It provides us with a unique opportunity to explore potential partnerships and strategically enhance our portfolio with new technologies.”   👏 A big thank you to all our participants - FUSION IoT, ratiotec GmbH & Co. Last week, our DEI Committee hosted an insightful #DiversityTalk on #Neurodiversity, exploring how embracing diverse ways of thinking can enhance our teams and drive innovation🌟 Ulrich Bergmann opened the session by emphasizing the need for inclusivity at every level. Nina Leibel shared valuable insights into the challenges and untapped potential of neurodiverse individuals. And a panel discussion with her, Jochen Ihl and Melissa Jäger underscored the importance of open communication in fostering a thriving culture.
