PowerCell Group Secures Follow-up Order for Marine System 225 PowerCell is pleased to announce that it has received a follow-up order for Marine System 225 from a leading European marine OEM manufacturer. This new order, valued at approximately SEK 41.8 million, solidifies PowerCell’s growing position in the marine industry. Deliveries are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025. The order consists of 14 additional units of the Marine System 225, highlighting its increasing importance within the marine industry. These units will be deployed on commercial cruise ships, providing auxiliary power to the vessels' internal electrical systems. Since its introduction in June, PowerCell has received orders for more than 75 systems from different customers, with deliveries scheduled before the end of 2025. Richard Berkling, CEO of PowerCell Group, stated: “The fact that we are now receiving recurring orders of this scale is a strong indicator that the energy transition is gaining momentum. Large OEMs pioneering decarbonisation and taking responsibility for reducing air pollution from cruise ships provide the leadership the marine industry needs. This leadership is critical for the marine sector and significantly contributes to European sustainability efforts. For PowerCell, this marks the beginning of a new era for us and the market, as demand driven by OEMs surpasses our project sales. This has propelled PowerCell into continuous serial production for the first time in our history. Meet our Newborn…   It is time for the world to meet our "Newborn". Proud as only a parent can be, we are thrilled to present a picture from the next phase where we have advanced from initial short-stack testing to full size. We have successfully mounted 399 cells, conducted leak tests, and prepared them for testing, with the aim of providing 300 kW. Once fully grown, this beauty will provide 1 MW of power, boasting a 76% improvement in power density compared to our current industry-leading S3 stack. #HydrogenFuelCells #ElectrifyEverything #CleanEnergy #EnergyTransition #Sustainability
