  • We believe in turning our commitment to wildlife conservation into action. Four of our LeoVegas Group colleagues, Gayatri M., Daniela Samsonov, Matthew Spiteri, and Jennifer Tynemouth, had the opportunity to travel to South Africa and volunteer with The Lions Foundation. Sharing their exciting LeoInitiative adventure, they said: “Over seven unforgettable days, we immersed ourselves in hands-on efforts to support animal welfare. We built platforms for the animals, cleaned enclosures, prepared animal feed, and even rescued and cared for working donkeys in a nearby township. The arrival of three tigers—Vladimir, Valesca, and Afrodite—was an emotional as well as exciting highlight, as we witnessed these majestic animals step into their new, safe enclosures. This experience wasn’t just about contributing to conservation; it was about learning, growing, and understanding the dedication required to protect wildlife. We returned with new skills, unforgettable memories, and a passion for making a difference. We’re incredibly grateful to the Lions Foundation team for their hospitality, guidance, and the incredible work they do every day to safeguard these animals. Initiatives like these inspire us to continue supporting wildlife conservation and to share these stories, hoping to inspire others to join in protecting our planet’s biodiversity.” #LeoInitiative2024 #WildlifeConservation #TeamLeo  #StichtingLeeuw  #TheLionsFoundation

  • We believe that protecting wildlife is essential for a sustainable future. Our conservation efforts include partnerships with remarkable organizations, such as the Lions Foundation in South Africa and Stichting Leeuw in the Netherlands, to support vital initiatives like animal care, habitat preservation, and community education. Each contribution makes a difference—improving enclosures, funding veterinary care, and providing necessary resources for the animals and their caretakers. It’s about creating safe spaces for wildlife and empowering communities to protect these ecosystems Through our partnership with the Lions Foundation, we’re not only helping animals; we’re also offering our team members a transformative learning experience through our volunteer program. By working hands-on with the animals, managing daily tasks, and supporting essential conservation activities, our volunteers gain firsthand insight into the commitment and dedication required in the field. This experience teaches us resilience, teamwork, and the importance of even the smallest efforts, lessons we can apply both in our professional lives and within our communities. These small initiatives are making life a bit easier for the lions, enhancing their environment, care, and overall well-being. 🦁 At the same time, they’re equipping our volunteers with a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation and inspiring them to become advocates for sustainable practices. By aligning with impactful organizations like Stichting Leeuw, we’re contributing to a cause greater than ourselves—instilling a sense of purpose that extends beyond the office. The more we learn and share about the incredible work being done on the ground, the more we can inspire others to come together to help protect our planet’s amazing wildlife and natural beauty.  From our colleagues to our wider network, we hope to spread awareness that conservation isn’t a distant responsibility but a mission we can all support through mindful actions, big and small. Together, we’re paving the way for future generations to inherit a world where animals like lions continue to thrive in the wild. It’s a shared vision for a sustainable, flourishing planet—one we’re proud to support and carry forward. 🌍 #TeamLeo

  • We are thrilled to announce that our LeoInitiative volunteer adventure has returned! Four dedicated LeoInitiative ambassadors are set to embark on a meaningful journey to the Lions Foundation in South Africa, where they will engage in hands-on activities aimed at supporting the rescue and rehabilitation of big cats, including two remarkable lions—Bruno and Omar. Bruno and Omar are lion brothers born in captivity at a circus in Slovakia, whom LeoVegas Group rescued in 2017 with the help of Stichting Leeuw as part of our commitment to wildlife conservation. Bruno was previously owned by members of organized crime before being rescued from a cage, while Omar was abandoned in a small cage under extreme cold conditions after his owner fled the country. They now live in spacious habitats at the Lions Foundation, enjoying an environment that mimics their natural surroundings, where they can live free from harm. During this trip, our ambassadors—Daniela Samsonov, Gayatri M. , Matthew Spiteri, and Jennifer Tynemouth—will engage in a variety of impactful activities. They will assist with animal care, help maintain the sanctuary, and contribute to educational outreach programs aimed at local communities. They will learn from the dedicated staff at the Lions Foundation, gaining insights into wildlife conservation and the challenges faced by these magnificent creatures. Throughout this journey, the team will share engaging content to raise awareness about the vital mission of the Lions Foundation. Everyone is invited to follow along on their adventure and witness their experiences on Instagram @ lifeatleo, where they will be posting updates, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and more! Stay tuned for more opportunities to engage with this important mission. Together, we can make a difference! 🦁💪 #WildlifeConservation #LionsFoundation #StichtingLeeuw #LeoInitiative #CSR #TeamLeo
