Joyful spirit, boundless creativity, infinite care. Rosita Missoni's life has been as full of challenges and achievements, in the forms of threads, of colours, of shapes that she pieced together to give life to a unique point of view. Her steadfast diligence and exacting attention to detail that anchored her visionary creativity, and that of her husband Ottavio, enabling it to transcend the realm of fashion and leave an indelible mark on the lives of those who chose, wore, and became part of the extended Missoni family. As we offer our heartfelt condolences to her family, we celebrate her extraordinary journey and thank her for the kaleidoscopic beauty she brought into this world. https://shorturl.at/ITnpy https://shorturl.at/8PSvu https://shorturl.at/xIOaJ https://shorturl.at/CQ4PF

Chi siamo
The European Fashion Heritage Association is a non-profit organisation established in 2014 in order to bring together and engage fashion institutions (Brand archives, Museums, Research institutions, etc.) and creative industries in the valorisation and exploitation of fashion heritage online. Since then, the Association has grown, attracting more than 40 public and private fashion institutions, coming from 14 European countries, with the objective to unlock and give free access to the unique and rich fashion heritage of Europe, collecting and making available more than one million high-quality digital fashion objects, ranging from historical dresses to accessories, catwalk photographs, drawings, sketches, videos and fashion catalogues. We believe that this growing network we have created will strengthen our understanding of national and international identities and help us in finding a definition of our European identity, unlocking the full potential of sharing our common fashion heritage for creatives, scholars and fashion lovers alike. The Association has now become an international hub, in which fashion GLAMs (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums), brands, researchers and creatives can share experiences and best practices in the field of digitisation, online access and valorisation of fashion heritage resources, contributing to the digital transformation in the sector. The Association is also actively participating in several projects in EC programs, like Horizon Europe, Creative Europe and Digital Europe, in order to sustain and enhance its infrastructure and to continue offering state-of-the-art services to its members. The Association operates also in the broader landscape of European digital cultural heritage, contributing as accredited fashion thematic aggregator to Europeana, the EU funded initiative that brings together and gives access to millions of digital heritage objects coming from cultural institutions across Europe.

Just wrapped up two insightful days at the EFHA Workshop on 3D Digitisation Practices in Fashion Heritage, organised by EFHA and hosted by Centro di Ricerca Gianfranco Ferré and the Missoni Archive. The experience was an inspiring look into how advanced digital tools are reshaping how we preserve and share fashion history. Day 1 took us through Ferré’s legacy, where we explored digitization techniques that capture the intricate details of his work. Highlights included Modemuze’s structured approach to 3D workflows and the #5DCulture project—both expanding how we engage with fashion heritage, as well as MoMu - Fashion Museum Antwerp and d_archive digitisation of Momu’s study collection and Dylan Eno and Finn van Tol’s experimentations in digitising different materials and surfaces. On Day 2, Luca Missoni guided us through the Missoni Archive and Factory. From witnessing weaving machines in action to hands-on loom workshops at Museo MA*GA, it was a powerful reminder of the art and craft at the heart of Missoni. These experiences underlined how essential it is to combine digital craftsmanship with traditional techniques to make fashion heritage accessible for future generations.
