We're proud to highlight the success of the first Scientific and Practical International Conference "Diagnostics and Treatment of Pulmonary Hypertension in Ukraine and Abroad: Experiences of Doctors and Patients", held in Lviv, Ukraine, last Saturday! Victor Gascon Moreno, VP of Awareness and Operations of GAAPP, Vildana Mujkic, President of the Eastern European Alliance and Vice-Secretary of the Board of Directors of Gaapp, and Oksana Kulish, Head of PHURDA and Благодійний Фонд "Сестри Даліли" emphasized the importance of: 🔹 Stronger patient advocacy through collaboration with GAAPP. 🔹 Increased international cooperation with the Eastern European Alliance. 🔹 Enhanced understanding of PHURDA's impact in Ukraine and the crucial role of patient-physician collaboration. This event was co-organized by Ukrainian Pulmonary Hypertension Association (Асоціація Легеневої Гіпертензії,) Global Allergy & Airways Patient Platform, PHURDA, LEV-Kursom, St. Nicholas Children's Hospital (Дитяча Лікарня Святого Миколая,) and the Ministry of health of Ukraine, with support by GAAPP and ERN-LUNG - European Reference Network for rare respiratory diseases. Even during challenging times, this strong collaboration brought together patients, physicians, international experts, industry and government representatives.
