As an effort to further uplift and support the Batik industry to thrive, Tokopedia and TikTok Indonesia joined forces to launch the “Melokal Dengan Batik” campaign early this month in Yogyakarta. Aimed at accelerating the digital adoption of local creators, the initiative also aims to provide substantial assistance, facilitating them with several supports including supply chain, production support, and technical and financial constraints. The initiative has been running since January 2024 in Pekalongan, Solo, and Yogyakarta, and will continue to expand to other regions in Indonesia. Through collaboration with the local government, we hope that our collective endeavor can deliver significant support to MSMEs, upstreaming various aspects to fundamentally improve local products competitiveness!
