Working with remote teams is no longer a rare thing Post Covid and I believe each of us have increased the Empathy quotient to some level. Apart from the key topics Open communication, Active listening etc, building team culture with core values is key with small er ones such as. 1. Don’t wait for others & Be the first person to check with others on last vacations, kids school holidays etc 2. Keep Camera On meetings & request more team members to do the same in long run 3. Celebrate team member’s birthday, anniversary day, different cultures etc, Talk about the good memories and make people feel special. 4. Prioritise topics about People benefits in your organisation & encourage them to use them. 5. Don’t preach, Be the change yourself.
