Last 4th and 5th of December, we had the opportunity to present our company at Health Tech Forward 2024 in Barcelona. This programme for startups helps companies to increase their brand awareness, get funding and establish connections that can turn into partnerships. Thanks to this programme, we have held several meetings with investors from all over the world, we have presented the current investment round and our products; mjn-SERAS (epilepsy) and mjn-DREAMER (Alzheimer's). Taking advantage of the occasion, we have been able to participate in the Tech Meets Capital event, which is by invitation only, where the main investors in health meet. At this event, we had access to one-on-one meetings with founders of emerging growth companies and presented our investment round to them.

El 4 y 5 de diciembre, DKV participó en Health Tech Forward 🌐, un evento clave para explorar el futuro de la salud digital. Realizamos una actividad exclusiva con médicos en la que Xavier Cantó Vilanova, director Médico Territorial, se encargó de acompañar a todos los asistentes en las visitas a las startups innovadoras presentes como Youth, Tandem, neuroClues y mjn-neuro, probando sus soluciones de primera mano. Además, Elena Torrente Segarra, directora de Desarrollo Estratégico y Salud Digital, y Sílvia Vinyes Roca, responsable de Innovación Abierta de Salud Digital, lideraron una presentación privada a todos ellos, sobre la estrategia de DKV, en la que se debatió sobre cómo maximizar el valor de la salud digital para los profesionales 🤝 Sílvia Vinyes Roca participó en la mesa redonda "Accelerating technology innovation for women's health", moderada por Anastasiya Markvarde de EVERSANA y que también contó con las intervenciones de Emily Napier de Philips y Rubén Molina de Innitius. En este encuentro, Sílvia, compartió cómo DKV está contribuyendo a la creación de valor en el sector de la salud de la mujer, destacando la colaboración con startups en iniciativas clave, para incorporar soluciones innovadoras en el ámbito de la prevención de riesgos en el embarazo y la menopausia. Esta participación subraya el compromiso de Grupo DKV con la innovación y el impulso de la salud de la mujer a través de la colaboración. SPHERAG, among the 10 companies selected by the Agro Innovation Lab Sycai Medical wins the Innovation in Health Award from GRAUSTIC and the TIC Salut Social Foundation.

🚀 Health Tech Forward 2024 #HTC2024, Europe's premier event for health tech innovation and investment, took place i Barcelona on December 4th and 5th! 🗣️ Robert Fabregat Fuentes, CEO at Biocat, welcomed attendees to Barcelona and Catalonia, thanking the organizers for bringing this flagship conference to the city. In his speech, he highlighted the key strengths of Catalonia’s Life Sciences and Healthcare ecosystem. 🔝 The event showcased a strong presence of #BioRegionCatalonia entities, delivering insightful talks on topics such as health innovation and its challenges, artificial intelligence and precision medicine, accessible diagnostics, and data-driven population health. Some of the notable speakers included representatives from: Servei Català de la Salut, l'Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, Asabys Partners, Fundación VISIBLE, MiMark diagnostics, Sanofi, Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Agència de Qualitat i Avaluació Sanitàries de Catalunya (AQuAS), Ship2B Ventures, LUMO Labs, Grupo DKV and Clínica Synaptica. 💡 These startups of the Bio Region have also given pitches: Methinks AI, Kriba, Pharmacelera, The Blue Box Biomedical Solutions, mjn-neuro, Punto Health. 🤝 Over two days, #HTC2024 offered an incredible opportunity to connect with industry leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and global experts. A few weeks ago, our CEO Kristof had the incredible opportunity to participate in the EIT Health Calling2Scale program, which took us to the thriving hubs of Toronto and Boston. This invaluable experience allowed us to gain fresh insights into the North American markets and build meaningful connections with leaders in healthcare and neuroscience innovation. The program brought together an inspiring group of European companies – each pioneering advancements in areas like epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, and other critical fields. We were honored to exchange insights with remarkable peers including GGTUDE, RebrAIn, Neroes, NeuroBlast, Actipulse Neuroscience® , Bitbrain, NeuroSoV, AURIMOD GmbH, AgenT, mjn-neuro, Maicatech, and BrainTale.
