The Lending Journey is a microfinance NGO committed to providing economic, social and spiritual support to disenfranchised women in South America. We provide a unique 26 week training program that incorporates and promotes entrepreneurship and the development of self-esteem. Many have heard the adage, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish and you feed him for a life time." We at The Lending Journey we believe, "It is not until you sit and eat the fish with the man that you truly gain insight into his life, and become an agent of change." To date we have helped encouraged over 2,500 micro-loans.
