"In Canada 50% of all donations are from individuals over 60; and 50% of those come from people over 70" (Source: Carter's Charity Conference.) Do you know where you can find a ton of younger donors? In almost ANY peer-to-peer fundraiser. For Blue Sea, 80% of our participants are under 60 years old and 20% of them self-donate. So that's one place to start. But there's much more to enjoy. Peer-to-peer is fundraising event gold where you can harvest donors and so much more including sponsors, volunteers, BOD members, major donors (they all start small) and community stakeholders who, having experienced your event become proud advocates for you. About us
Blue Sea exists to give charities the power to fundraise successfully and we believe that more often than not, peer-to-peer fundraising is the best way to do that. We bring people together for good – donors, sponsors, volunteers, big-hearted businesses, charities, and hundreds of thousands of everyday people. Working together, these folks have raised over $100,000,0000 and created meaningful, high-impact relationships that contribute to our charity partners’ long-term success. Whether you’re a charity looking to build buzz, raise cash, or find new donors, or a CSR lead looking to engage your employees across the country, we’ve got peer-to-peer events, knowledge, and support to help you reach your goals. In Canada, we go by Blue Sea Foundation and in the USA, we’re called Blue Sea Philanthropy, but most just know us as the peer-to-peer people. Our signature events include: Ride for Refuge – rideforrefuge.org Coldest Night of the Year – cnoy.org The Grand Parade – thegrandparade.org Love, Sweat & Gears Tour – lsgtour.org

The Grand Parade 2024 was truly a day to remember 🩵⭐🧡 Thousands of participants, in 34 locations across the country, took to the streets to publicly honour aging friends and family, and to fundraise on behalf of the charities that support them. We'd like to thank all of the walkers, captains, fundraisers, donors, volunteers, supporters and sponsors for making this event unforgettable. The funds you’ve raised will have an incredible impact on seniors in your community – and across the country. There’s still time to donate if you want to add to this amazing effort! Donations are being accepted until October 31st at https://lnkd.in/ghzwRnqZ #tgp24 Oh, and don't forget to save the date: #tgp25 will take place on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025!

So very good! Next year anyone?
Two weeks of committed cycling brought the LSG team to PEI and their obvious excitement dipping their wheels in the Atlantic at Cavendish Beach. Just over $100,000 raised in our innaugeral year for a list of 10 rider-selected and Blue Sea approved charities. Major gifts that will make a major difference. #lsg24 #yourcause #ourpassion
