It was all about the 4 Elements for the Press Launch of the Lexus NX Overtrail on the island of Lanzarote this autumn ☀️ 🌊 Water: after checking-in to the fabulous La Isla y El Mar Boutique Hotel, our media guests were transferred by boat to a sunset experience for the evening program. From the water the media had a first glance of the static NX Overtrail with an impressive volcanic backdrop. The changing colors of the evening sky gave the welcome cocktail, vehicle display, presentation and dinner an extra special touch. 🏄♂️ Wind: the car line up took place the following morning next to a mural of the 4 Elements hand painted. The media had an abundance of routes to choose from on their test drive depending on the scenery they wished to capture and the distance they wanted to travel. Lanzarote being popular for its wind sports, the GPS navigated the media to Tenesar Beach in the North to marvel at the windsurfers, paragliders and wing foil experts. 🔥 Fire: everyone came together to have lunch in a hidden crater which had been formed through lava erosion many years ago. Starting from a blank canvas, Marakanda had the vision to create a bohemian chill out zone with live cooking from LanzaLux and a ceramics workshop. Inspired by the island, the media ate and drank from pottery that the artist made as part of a 4 Elements collection. 🌱Earth: as the day came to a close, the media drove through the vineyards of Cesar Lanzarote to reach the hotel entrance. After an insightful tour about the history, architecture and 0km restaurant policy of the boutique hotel, the media watched the sunset behind the volcanoes while sipping on homemade César Wine. We particularly enjoyed going from a creative concept of the 4 Elements to bringing it to life for the Lexus NX Overtrail Press Launch. 🚛 Looking back on the weekend of 28th & 29th September 2024. 🏆 Marakanda had the great pleasure of organizing and participating in the 39th edition of the "24 Heures Camions" at the iconic Circuit of Le Mans, on behalf of Ford Trucks France — our third year in a row! This edition was particularly special, as we had the honor of welcoming Sebastien Chabal, the ambassador of Ford Trucks France. Once again, we saw record crowds — with over 80,800 spectators attending the event! Our booth was the place to be for visitors who had the opportunity to: • Discover 5 F-MAX and 2 F-LINE trucks, proudly presented by private owners and distributors, sharing their stories and showcasing their vehicles. • Enjoy a rugby activity led by Jean-claude Tardieu, introducing young participants to this dynamic sport, and test their reflexes and the Batak game, commonly used by F1 drivers—challenging them to beat the scores of GP Camions drivers! • Be surprised by the exciting partnership between Harley-Davidson Motor Company & Ford Trucks France, which allowed us to have 4 motorcycles on display at the booth, as well as the incredible jump start experience that gave visitors the chance to test ride a Harley! • Attend three autograph sessions with Sebastien Chabal, followed by lots of goodies being handed out by Ford Trucks France. • Admire the Pace Truck F-MAX opening the four races of the French Truck Championship on the legendary track. • Be amazed by the official opening of the French Championship by Sebastien Chabal himself. We also had the pleasure of organizing a press trip with renowned journalists, offering them an exclusive experience of a Grand Prix weekend with Ford Trucks France. Coming back from a 3-day Portuguese getaway, a seminar between both city and nature. Marakanda had the pleasure and the challenge to organise Intérim Direct’s seminar for the 4th time in a row. Every year we find new destinations and unusual activities to take the group out of their daily routine. This year we started the event with a cocktail lunch at the amazing hotel PHC Hotels - Portuguese Hospitality Collection in the city center, before going on a tour in fun cars Boost Portugal to discover the city from a different angle. Straight after, the group did a street-art workshop to unleash their artistic skills on the walls of Lisbon (a nice nod to the new Lisbon culture) with Lisbonstreetarttours, Alfonsoul, & Moami31. To end the day, they took to the skies to have a dinner with a 360° view of Lisbon at Silk Club. They danced all night long overlooking the Portuguese capital. The day after, they headed up to Obido’s Lagoon, to do a balancing relay on SUPs or a bike ride of 22 km with points of interest to photograph accompanying of Kitelife. During the evening, they did a mixology workshop making their own cocktails in the nice boutique hotel Riodoprado, where they also stayed for the night. On the last day, they discovered the most beautiful medieval village in Portugal, Obidos, where literature is at the heart of the city. The JustWeekend Team-Building Seminar 2024 was a blast! 🎉 As always, the seminar location was revealed on the day of travel and this year, 280 Justines & Justins of julhiet sterwen found themselves on the beautiful South-West coast of France. To soak up the Basque culture from day one, the group split into 10 teams and competed to win the 'Forces Basques’. Activities ranged from Basque dances, songs and pelota to hay bale tossing, wood chopping and milk pail racing. The next day, the group split to take on challenging obstacle courses at BIJE Bootcamp. Meanwhile, the other half of the group raced in kayaks and bikes to reach a series of rescue and blind challenges exclusively built by Marakanda. All was constructed to strengthen team spirit and build individual resilience. 💪🏼 On the last day, participants had the freedom to design their own programme and attend initiation classes of surfing, fat biking, lifeguarding, tai chi, kitesurfing, escape games and yoga. The nights were brought to life by a mixture of in-house DJs, the JustRock band, an interactive photobooth and 5* gastronomy cooked and animated by top-rated Elysées chefs. Evening themes ranged from beach party to white party and everyone danced until the early hours! 🕺🏼🪩 We find such pleasure in creating and organising such fun and dynamic seminars for julhiet sterwen. Launch of the 2024 French Truck Championship Season in Partnership with Ford Trucks France 🏁 Throwback to our exciting weekend at Circuit Paul Ricard! For the third consecutive year, Ford Trucks France has extended its partnership with the French Truck Championship.  Since the begining of this collaboration, Marakanda has had the pleasure of accompanying Ford Trucks France. The season opener witnessed a remarkable turnout, with over 47,000 enthusiastic visitors to the renowned Circuit Paul Ricard. On the starting line were 30 trucks, led by the Pace Truck Ford F-Max, with a revisited design for this 2024 season. Highlights of this weekend: ▪️ Experience the exclusive and unique hospitality area set up by the Marakanda team. ▪️ To show appreciation to TRAILER TRUCKS SERVICES & Ford Trucks | Groupe Huillier's guests, we hosted a delightful evening on Saturday, bringing everyone together over a glass of good cheer ▪️ Invitees had the privilege of embarking on a grid walk and enjoying a Pace Truck lap before each race. A special thank you to Pierre Dubois and the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile for their dedicated collaboration throughout the year. We extend our deepest gratitude to Ford Trucks France for their continuous trust and loyalty to Marakanda for the third consecutive year. We're back from the Land Cruiser Meet the Engineer Event by Toyota Motor Europe which took place in Scotland! Over the course of 2 weeks, a total of 28 countries participated in a test-driving programme packed full of various Scottish activities. From adrenaline-pumping test drives to captivating presentations, every aspect of the launch was meticulously planned to ensure an unforgettable experience for all attendees. It was a real pleasure to welcome around 120 special guests to Scotland to enjoy our tailor made programme. 𝐀 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞: ➤  The guests had the pleasure of staying near the Royal Residency in The Balmoral Arms Hotel, an authentic and welcoming place, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in this experience. ➤ Our driving team designed an on road route through the Scottish Highlands. ➤ The guests crossed The Glen Tanar Estate's muddy and snowy tracks to reach the lunch spot in a remote area. ➤  We created a 4*4 track to test the technical capabilities of the new Land Cruiser. ➤  To round the test drive off well and amplify the capacities of the 'working car', the guests had the opportunity to feed the estate cows using this highly versatile off-road vehicle. 💧Hyvolution Paris 2024, the first exhibition of the year for HYVIA & Marakanda !! 💧 572 Exhibitors and brands, 3 days of discussions, 20 countries participating,… Marakanda was delighted to support HYVIA with their contribution on the world’s leading hydrogen event in Paris for the 4th year in a row. Our main mission was finding the perfect location for the exhibition and creating a sleek booth which highlighted the HYVIA’s pioneer ecosystem and the partnership with Renault Group and Plug Power. We displayed the Renault Group Master Van H2-TECH , L3H2 version of its new architecture, fitted out as a workshop vehicle by converter Kollé, and the fuel cell prototype to illustrate the high-end H2 technology.
