New demonstration of our autonomy kit and expertise for Robs4Crops 🚜 As the project is at its final phase, this is a perfect opportunity to show the results of a fruitful collaboration with our partners, directly in the field! 🔹An autonomous tractor: our #AutonomyKit transforms this tractor into a machine capable of performing missions entirely on its own. 🔹An open research platform: our Ceol demonstrator, equipped with AGCbox, is designed to easily integrate the systems from our partners. For instance: 🔹Farming Controller from the Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems and Automation 🔹Perception Unit from Smart Farming Technology Group - Agricultural University of Athens, which analyzes foliar density to precisely adjust spraying. Together, we harmonize and advance each partner’s technologies to meet the needs of farmers and shape the agriculture of tomorrow. 🌾
🤖 Last Friday on Nov 22, our partners conducted a Scale-Up demonstration event for the 2nd Pilot (LSP2) within the Robs4Crops (R4C) project! 🚜 📍 Hosted in collaboration with PEGASUS AGRIFOOD COOP - 7Grapes at Kiato, Greece, the event welcomed 45 farmers and advisors, who witnessed live demonstrations of cutting-edge agricultural robotics in action: 👉 The CEOL robot navigating autonomously with the R4C Farming Controller. 👉 A retrofitted tractor executing autonomous spraying operations with precision. 💡 Panagiotis Karagiannis from our partnering organisation Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems and Automation delivered an in-depth presentation on the Farming Controller’s functionalities and capabilities, while Giannis Augoustakis introduced the Perception Unit—a vital component for achieving autonomous spraying. ✅ The event showcased how Robs4Crops is revolutionizing modern agriculture with digital innovations and sustainable farming solutions.
