Yesterday it was my absolue pleasure to host Anna Navarro i Descals (Schlegel) on the tbotalent Forum:
"Winning Globally - Talents you Need to Hire and Retain to Win".
Anna masterfully quoted Richard Branson: "Any idiot can complicate things but a leader will simplify them".
I love that one!
Referencing her highly successful book "Truly Global", Anna emphasized that in order to each BTE, Best Team Ever, status sometimes 12-18 months or more of hard work may be required. You have to accept #vulnerability and be an adult and take the tough and frank feedback on the chin in order to really make changes.
We learned about Vitamin N, which is learning to say "no" a lot more and Vitamin T, which is the teflon factor - not taking things personally and moving on from disappointments quickly.
Anna proudly mentioned that many of the people that have worked for her over the years are leaders today. I personally really identify with that in my experience at tbo, where former tbo cabin boys/girls are now CEOs in their own right.
We also fielded a bunch of questions from the audience, including Luciano A., Pablo Laino, Juliana Gutenmajer, Marcos J. Lardone, Kathy Tyra among others. In the end we went 30 minutes over time and nobody dropped out - a sign of just how insightful Anna is.
Thank you so much Jorgelina Venturi and the team at tbotalent and tbo for your amazing organizational skills and ongoing support. You ninjas really make it happen.
Moving forward, with almost 200 attendees registered from 20+ different countries, Jorgelina Venturi has certainly set the bar high for the next tbotalent Forum.
Jorgelina Venturi is looking for speakers with #purpose to do the next tbotalent Forum onsite and face to face (gasp!) in #monterey at LocWorld. If you are interested and planning to be there let us know!
