Gyeonggi Provincial Government and the Gyeonggi-do Business & Science Accelerator (GBSA) announced plans to transform the G2 Block of Pangyo Techno Valley 2 into a startup growth hub through public-private collaboration, focusing on startup investment, entrepreneur education, and business support for early-stage companies. GBSA recently held a business briefing session at the Pangyo Startup Campus to discuss the progress of the public-private partnership in developing Pangyo Techno Valley 2’s G2 Block as Gyeonggi’s next startup hub. GBSA President Sungcheon Kang, corporate partners, including SoulBrain Executive Director Chang-gyu Kang, Cosmecca Korea Co. LTD Vice President Ki-Hyun Kim, representatives from HFR, Inc., and Seungmo Kang, CEO of StationK, one of the three leading operators of the public-private partnership, attended the event. The briefing highlighted the operational progress of the G2 Block, achievements in supporting startups, shareholder investment plans, and proposed programs to attract AI-focused startups.
