🏡 ULI Greece & Cyprus Living Forum: Insights and Inspiration 🏡 Earlier this year, the ULI Greece & Cyprus Living Forum met at ZOIA’s HQ in Kolonaki. This was the second Living Companies Series of the forum, where Zoia’s CEO, Stavros Tolias gave a comprehensive presentation on Zoia’s history, business strategy, portfolio and shared some interesting case studies. The presentation was followed by a round-table discussion on the prospects, the opportunities, and challenges of the living build-to-rent (BTR) sectors in Greece and the conditions of the residential market. We would like to thank ZOIA for the warm hospitality they extended to the group and the ULI Greece & Cyprus Living Forum co-chairs, Stavros Tolias of Zoia and Konstantinos Papadopoulos of Resi Company for the organization of the meeting! 🌿 Insights from Our Sustainability Forum 🌿 Another recent Sustainability Forum session brought to light the critical topic of climate and physical risks in the real estate sector. The discussion focused on how climate conditions impact the operation and value of real estate assets and the growing importance of incorporating Green due diligence into decision-making processes. 🏡 ULI Greece & Cyprus Living Forum: Insights and Inspiration 🏡 The ULI Greece & Cyprus Living Forum earlier this year came together at the newly opened Twinn Downtown Piraeus Hotel, operated by Santikos Collection. The meeting began with an engaging presentation on the development journey of the hotel, shared by its owners, Hellenic Properties, and their CEO, Errikos Arones, who offered valuable insights into how this property became the success story it is today. The key focus of the session was a presentation on the senior living sector in Greece by Manos Georgarakos, Founder & CEO of Map of Care. Manos provided thoughtful comparisons between the highly developed US market and the emerging opportunities in Greece, offering the group a comprehensive understanding of the sector and its potential.
