The recent fires in Attica caused widespread damage and loss to people, nature and communities. One of the urban areas most affected was the Penteli municipality which saw many public buildings left in a total state of disarray, chief among them the schools of the municipality. 💬 Our team did not remain passive. With the invaluable help of Humanity Greece , we worked with the officials of Penteli to organise a professional and thorough cleaning of the high school of Nea Penteli. 💪 For two days, a large crew of specialized professionals from Douleutaras worked from early morning under difficult and demanding conditions. Their sole purpose was to ensure that the two schools would be delivered as they should be: sparkling clean and 100% ready. So they could welcome our children just after the first bell the way they deserve. #Douleutaras #YourHero #HumanityGreece #DimosPentelis

In the aftermath of the devastating fires in Attiki, Greece, our hearts go out to all those affected. When someone reached out to us for help, the least we could do was to offer our help. We are deeply appreciative of our partner professionals and our team members who volunteered their time to bring a sense of normalcy back to a family in need. At the same time, thanks to the kind offers from our team, our partners, our customers and many other friends, and in partnership with the Greek Red Cross, we collected and shipped a truckload of vital supplies and necessities to affected families.
