🏙️✨🏙️✨🏙️✨🏙️✨🏙️✨🏙️✨🏙️✨🏙️✨🏙️✨ There is much to be credited to the artistry of harnessing moments weaved in a timeline spanning over a decade. At TKDS we certainly appreciate the graveness of storytelling. This appreciation transcends into our design style. Whenever you visit our firm you can spot remnants of a beautiful story being formed in our meeting rooms, boardroom and hallways⚜️ There is an old saying that ‘intelligence is the compression of information’ this was made evident when we sat down with the award winning Asset Magazine tasked with narrating who we are and where we have been as a company. • Our methodology at TKDS is an expression of our collective intent to achieve brand evangelism through well executed projects. We are excited to announce the successful completion of the upgrade and refurbishment of the Client Meeting Centre (CMC) at Johannesburg CBD, undertaken by @standardbanksa limited (SBSA). This revitalization has greatly enhanced the CMC, transforming and improving its facilities and amenities for a more engaging client experience. We are proud to have served as the principal agent, with our dedicated interior design team playing a crucial role within the talented professional team, overseeing the design and coordination of the renovations. The new design features increased openness and size, achieved by incorporating glass panels that foster transparency and connection. A light neutral colour scheme, accented with vibrant furnishings, energizes the environment and creates a welcoming atmosphere. We integrated greenery throughout the space, adding a soft, organic touch that promotes well-being. This refurbished facility is not just a workspace for bank personnel; it’s also the first point of contact for external guests. This awe-inspiring project has evoked a nomination at that Africa Property Investment (API) awards 2024 as a finalist. #WeAreTKDS

  • Project Spotlight! Encha Property Services required space planning services for a Tenant (Department of Justice) in the Momentum Towers building located on Erf 3312, Pretoria (329 & 343 Pretorius Street) to be implemented and occupied by the Gauteng Department of Justice. TKDS was appointed on a turnkey basis to oversee, design, manage, and build the project as the preferred Service Provider. The space planning services primarily include the coordination of the refurbishments of the various tenant floors as well as all applicable services and user-related upgrades on a total of 7 Floors.  Coordinating organograms and space planning for various departments/directorates was quite challenging as various senior professionals prefer certain workflow arrangements that do not necessarily corroborate. This process delayed the programme of works as various professionals had to approve the space planning before any working drawings could commence. Unlike all the floors which will have a typical look and feel, the 7th Floor is designed to have more upgraded finishes and high-tech applications as requested by the end user. The design will experiment with acoustic solution applications on both the walls and ceiling, glazing solutions, and exciting finishing combinations. #wearetkds #Design #Turnkey #SpacePlanning #OfficeRefurbishment #TenantInstallation

At TKDS we intentionally celebrate Women's Month as it serves as a vital reminder of the essential role women play in the workplace and society at large. We overtly value our women as they continuously contribute invaluable perspectives, skills, and expertise across all organizational divisions, driving innovation and fostering an inclusive environment. Their dynamic leadership and participation not only enhance organizational performance but also promote diversity, creativity, and collaboration. As we honour our women and advocate for equal opportunities within our firm, we pave the way for a more equitable and prosperous TKDS.   Exposure is an integral part of support, on the 21 of August, the TKDS team attended the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) and Women’s Property Network (WPN) Gauteng Women’s High Tea.   The function was sponsored by Liberty Two Degrees, and the guest speaker of the day was Ms. Zanele Njapha, Founder and CEO of the Unlearners.    The day's theme focused on women finding and living their purposes through their work.     The attendees were addressed by Ms. Barbara Makhubedu, CFO of Liberty Two Degrees. Ms. Makhebedu spoke of the collective responsibility carried by all women in executive positions in creating and fostering environments that allow for meaningful transformation, and inclusion of more women in senior executive positions.     Ms. Njapha delivered an inspirational talk titled “Growing Down First: Living a Purpose-Driven Life”, setting out the blueprint that one can follow to live a purpose-driven life.    The event was a success and like all SAPOA and WPN events allowed our team to network and meet other like-minded women in the property sector. #WeAreTKDS #TKDS #WomensMonth #WPN #SAPOA #Transformation #Inclusion #WomenInProperty #SAPOAWPNHighTea2024 SAPOA (South African Property Owners Association) Women's Property Network
