What counts as SED contributions? ✔️ Development programmes for women, youth, people with disabilities, people living in rural areas. ✔️ Healthcare / HIV programmes. ✔️ Support for education programmes, resources and materials at primary, secondary and tertiary level, bursaries and scholarships. ✔️ Training in communities, skills development for unemployed people and adult basic education (ABET). ✔️ Arts, culture and sporting development programmes Let’s unpack how businesses can align their efforts with meaningful socio-economic outcomes - read our latest newsletter for more insights 📖 https://lnkd.in/dpCmD4Ef #SocioEconomicDevelopment #BBBEE #Sustainability

Our COO, Anton Visser, addressed attendees at the Cleantex Executive Summit on the critical importance of upskilling and reskilling your people for the future world of work. The world is rapidly changing, and so is the cleaning, hygiene and facilities services industry. Think emerging technologies, the IoT, smart cleaning devices, huge emphasis on health and safety, environmental consciousness, and economic volatility – there is a LOT happening in an industry which has been overlooked in terms of technological innovation and environmental stewardship. That’s changing – rapidly. To stay competitive in such an environment, businesses need workforces that are dynamic, resilient and equipped with future-fit skills. Reskilling and upskilling your people, while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning, is the difference between business survival and obsoletion.
