Celebrating our Safety Champions at Marula! Implats’ Mighty Marulians launched their Safety Championship on 9 December 2024, with enthusiastic employees submitting entry cards in department-designated boxes. The excitement peaked on 18 December when lucky winners spun the wheel to claim their prizes. Congratulations to those who walked away with incredible prizes, including TVs, washing machines, fridges, and surprise filled gift bags.#Implats

In the true spirit of the festive season, members of Implats’ Marula operation visited the Dilokong Disability centre on 18 December 2024 to donate food parcels. Impala Western Limb operations, a subsidiary of Implats, recently raised awareness about gender-based violence (GBV) and HIV/AIDS during the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign. We were proud to offer medical services and HIV testing during a successful event, and to hear from impactful and passionate speakers on the intersection of GBV and AIDS in three of our mine communities – Mafika, Mogono, and Robega. At Impala, we believe in the power of education, collaboration, and action. Together, we continue to take a stand against harassment, bullying, and victimisation, and are building safer communities for all. #Implats

Implats’ subsidiary Impala’s Western Limb operation, together with key public safety stakeholders, rolled-out a road safety awareness road campaign ahead of the festive season. Teams greeted motorists at various intersections within the mining footprint providing informative material about the 5 Critical Safe Road Behaviours to support accident-free travelling over the holiday period. Impala’s Road Safety Awareness campaign is an important initiative aligned to the Company’s journey to zero harm for every employee whether at work or in their daily lives. #Implats
