Digitalization is High on the Agenda in Morocco Last week, the Danish Embassy in Morocco (The Trade Council of Denmark in Morocco) and Statistics Denmark (Danmarks Statistik) hosted a one-day tech conference in collaboration with Haut Commissariat au Plan (HCP). The primary goal was to facilitate knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices on digitalization between Morocco and Denmark. Additionally, the conference aimed to promote the use of digitalization processes to enhance the reuse of existing data within the public sector for official statistical production. The event featured presentations from both public agencies, ministries, and private companies, followed by a panel discussion. Participants in the panel included representatives from HCP, Statistics Denmark - International Consulting, the Ministry of Digital Transition, and the private sector, with the CEO of Digitis contributing valuable insights. This conference was part of the Strategic Sector Cooperation between Denmark and Morocco, funded by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Udenrigsministeriet). #DKAID Ahlam NARHAM Vanessa Lista Peter Bohnstedt Anan Hansen Camilla Østerballe Nielsen United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Klaus Balslev Pedersen Widad Saadouni Hasnae Fdhil Zineb Abbad El Andaloussi Klaus Munch Haagensen Mustapha MELOUI L'observatoire marocain de la souveraineté numérique (OMSN)
