🔔 Our Mirleft two-floor-house is operational 🔔 In this construction, we have pushed towards a beautiful combination that exploits at the same time all the advantages of the vernacular earthen constructions (thermal inirtia, quality of hegrometry, quality of air, interior comfort ..) and facilities of high technology through a domotic system powered by artificial intelligence that enables to adjust lights, openings, surveillance and the model is still learning to do more. The final result is a mixed of pure moroccan tradition with a touch of modernity in its broader sense. With the current economic dynamic that our Kingdom is witnessing in various sectors in general, and in tourism in particular, Ecodome Maroc is commited with its expertise in earth construction to support investors in eco-touristic sector to develop concepts that preserve beautiful natural landscapes with incredible potential, while proposing respectful infrastructures that maximaze the comfort, showcase the beauty of our Moroccan landscapes and bring local economic dynamics. Bellow some photos of our first ecological resort, in the making, in the region of Rabat nearby Khemisset under the name of "Jnane Tinegma". The project will be ready in few weeks to receive visitors and will offer ecological lodging, naturally sourced food in the local earthen restaurant, various outdoor activities related to nature and more. The project will also collaborate with locals, recruit from locals and promote local products with a holistic approach that makes everyone interacting with it wins. A new earthen building in the making: For a first, we are at the final finishing touches of our two-level-ecodome in the region of Guelmim-Oued Noun nearby the beautiful landscape of Mirleft. Our project is on 100 m² covered space with an additional 50 m² built on first-floor and 50 m² as an accessible terrasse. The main focus was to create a building that blinds naturally into the landscape while using the local raw materials with total continuity of the natural local color palette. Add to that: 🚧 In the inside design, we created a mixed contrast between modernity in conveniences and tradition in pure Moroccan finishings while respecting a guideline of coherence and refined overall aspect. 🔥 From a thermal point of view, we dimensioned the thickness of the exterior earthen walls to use at max the thermal inertia of earth while combining that with bioclimatic architecture to maximize the comfort in the inside and minimize the energy consumption for heating, cooling and humidity control. 💧 From a water management system perspective, we installed a rain and fog water recovery system which allows the water to be drained into a storage basin and then reuse it for sanitary facilities and garden irrigation. This is our way of facing humbly the climate change effects in the construction sector through pushing the thinking further to implement and promote maximum of passive concepts while preserving the beauty of landscapes.
