  • The City of Toronto is looking for residents with directorship and executive level experience, management or planning with a rail or public transit organization, professional knowledge and working experience of inclusive governance, and political acuity to apply for a board member position on the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) Board. The TTC is the third largest public transit system in North America servicing some 4.5 million people in the Greater Toronto Area. The TTC serves the people of Toronto by ensuring the transit system is reliable, safe, and prepared for the future. The board oversees matters of policy; planning TTC services; constructing; maintaining and operating the system; and expanding services and facilities.
