It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of former Brampton City Councillor Grant Gibson. Grant served our community with dedication for 27 years, from 1991 to 2018, representing Wards 1 and 5. He held key leadership roles, including chairing the Community Services, Building and Bylaw, Planning, and Budget Committees and was a long-serving member of Regional Council. Flags will fly at half-mast in his honor. Our thoughts are with his family and all those who were touched by his service and commitment to Brampton.
