#CDLAlumni OraQ AI has closed a $2.6 million round in seed funding. OraQ has created a dental software solution that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate data collection, leading to to more accurate and informed decisions around diagnosis and treatment planning, and in turn, improved patient outcomes. #CDLAlumni Carbon Upcycling Technologies has completed a three-year study, with the results highlighting the environmental benefits of its concrete mix. The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the National Road Research Alliance were also part of the study on the use of low-carbon cement in concrete. Carbon Upcycling's technology upcycles point-source industrial CO2 emissions and local industrial waste materials into high-performance, low-carbon cement alternatives. Megan O'Connor, founder of #CDLAlumni Nth Cycle, has been named one of TIME's 100 Most Influential Climate Leaders in Business for 2024! The TIME100 Climate list "represents multitudes of individuals making significant progress in influencing the business of climate change." Nth Cycle, which graduated from the CDL-Rockies Energy stream in 2020, developed a recycling technology that uses carbon filters for enhanced separation and recovery of rare earth metals from e-waste streams for reuse in the clean energy sector.
