Hi, my name is Megan from Vision Therapy Works! I have been in optical since 1995. My passion in the clinic is both teaching and Vision Therapy. I love helping optometrists to open or expand new VT clinics. When opening a clinic, a lack of trained staff or established protocols are typically the biggest challenge. I seek to fill this gap, and have been doing so in various clinics since 1997. Currently, I provide vision therapy fill-in services so that optometrists can either get started taking patients right away or seamlessly add more patients to their schedule lessening the burden on their waitlist. While doing that, I am also training the therapist in whichever methodology is known to the OD. I can start them at the beginning with basic optics, clinic management and marketing and carry them right through to mentoring as they enter PVTAP or COVT training. My goal is that your new or existing therapists will become more efficient, effective and have a well rounded knowledge base which allows you to help more individuals each year. For educating primary care staff, presentations can be held either as a group or one on one regarding what VT is, why we do it, and how it impacts the clinic as a whole. This creates a unified staff confident in all its services. All of my services are available through a combination of online and in-clinic days. In all this, my hope is that I can assist to bring function and clarity to YOUR vision.
