Our founders, Myra Arshad and Avneet Ghotra were named Forbes Top 30 Under 30, North America, for their achievements with ALT TEX 🎉 🚀 👏 This award is a true testament and celebration of the incredible determination and hard work of the ALT TEX team over the past several years. This past year has been the most challenging and simultaneously rewarding year for the ALT TEX team, where we buckled down to solve our largest challenge yet - scaling our food-to-fabric technology to get it into the hands of fashion brands. We worked worked relentlessly, overcoming our most difficult technical hurdles, from 100X scaleup of our fermentation system, to building out our polymer production supply chain. At the start of the year, we showed you ALT TEX fabric and the amazing garments it can create. This year, we’ve been able to take it out of the lab, reaching scales nearly ready for the racks. As we get ready to share more exciting updates in 2025, this award celebrates a year of quiet gruelling progress in the lab and ground-breaking advancements towards our goal of making fashion radically sustainable. Thank you Forbes for this recognition, and to the ALT TEX community for your continued support - lots of exciting updates to come in 2025 🚀

A recent Ontario study of 651,071 cancer patients revealed a troubling trend: 35.3% visited the emergency department within 90 days before diagnosis, with over half of those visits leading to hospital admission. For many, the emergency department is a stressful, reactive setting—resulting in late-stage detection, fragmented care, and poorer outcomes. Tenomix Inc. is on a mission to change this. By developing automated technologies that reduce costs, optimize clinical workflows, and empower laboratory staff to focus on urgent cases, they aim to improve diagnostic pathways and ensure patients get timely, proactive care.
