The Province has introduced the Peel Transition Implementation Act, 2024, which, if passed, would transfer the delivery of certain public works services from Peel Region to Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon. The Environmental Registry of Ontario is now open for a 45-day public comment period until 11:59pm on January 26, 2025.
