This was an exciting opportunity to demo IRIS and Scrubbles to the folks at Zehr Group! We showcased IRIS’s data collection and inspection features, as well as Scrubbles' cleanup capabilities, on this muddy job site! 🚧🤖
At Zehr Group, we’re always eager to learn about the ways technology is shaping the future of construction and development. Recently, we had the opportunity to meet IRIS, Optimotive's autonomous robot, in action during a demonstration at our King Cameo Site. IRIS showcased its impressive ability to tackle tasks like 3D scanning, 360° photography, and inspections, even in challenging environments like muddy or dusty job sites. This demonstration highlighted just how rapidly the construction industry is evolving. Innovation like this has the potential to improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety on job sites, and it’s exciting to see how companies like Optimotive are driving progress. As a team dedicated to growth and learning, we’re inspired by the possibilities this technology brings to our industry. In partnership with BOREA CONSTRUCTION, we deployed IRIS, our autonomous data collection robot, on a large-scale solar site in Lethbridge, AB. This application focuses on leveraging IRIS’s ability to deliver reliable, consistent data more efficiently than traditional methods, saving hundreds of man-hours inspecting solar panels at a fraction of the cost.
