For the past decade, our Stellarton Depot has had the privilege of delivering a tree, along with lights and decorations, to Aberdeen Hospital. 🎄 While our team takes care of decorating the tree, the special honour of lighting it is given to a child chosen by the hospital. This year, two-year-old Hailey had the delightful task of pressing the button. 🥰

We believe in the power of community and the importance of being good neighbours. That's why we were proud to sponsor this year's Holiday Parade of Lights with Eastlink—a cherished tradition that brings us all together. Thank you for braving the rain and cold to make this celebration special! 🎅 🎄

Every year, a special gift bridges the miles between Nova Scotia and Boston—a tree that serves as a heartfelt thank-you for the help the City of Boston provided after the Halifax Explosion in 1917. Our crews were thrilled to work alongside the Department of Natural Resources and Renewables in safely preparing this white spruce for its journey—a moment made even more special for our forester, Peter Keddy, who had the honour of cutting the tree in Mattie Settlement. #TreeforBoston 🎄

After receiving the call only 24 hours ago, several of our crews from across the province packed up and safely started their drive to Tampa, Florida to be staged and ready to help in advance of the expected significant impact of Hurricane Milton as it approaches the state this week. Nova Scotians are no strangers to the devastating impacts of these kinds of weather events. We are so proud of our colleagues who stand ready to help our American neighbours. Stay safe out there. ❤️

We had the pleasure of partnering with LMMW Group Ltd. and EfficiencyOne to upgrade Souls Harbour Rescue Mission's various locations across the province. By working together, the goal was to help Souls Harbour run their properties more efficiently, reduce their carbon footprint, and cut operating costs, while providing the most comfortable, secure locations for guests, volunteers, and staff.  🏡

We recently had the pleasure of visiting L'Arche Cape Breton with a special delivery of power poles. These poles will assist them in constructing a sturdy and accessible bridge along their walking trail, ensuring safe passage for individuals in wheelchairs or those with mobility challenges. Wishing L'Arche many colourful autumn adventures! 🍂 🌲
