Author, Creative Sales & Marketing Strategist, Ghostwriter for busy Executives, Recruitment Consultant, Top 50 African Influencers - Trained 1K+ professionals in internet marketing & help Startups generate quality leads.

Last year, I decided to massively invest in myself so that I could impact others. 🤌🏾 Honestly, it wasn't easy at all. There were days I questioned if it was worth it. But I kept going! 🥺 Although there were times I had rewarding outcomes: 🤗 – Closed two huge clients. – Spoke at several LinkedIn Live events. – Spoke as a panelist at TEDxAjegunle 2.0. – Coached over 20 individuals in marketing and lead generation. – Moderated the international pitch session of Nobellum’s BIS [Black Innovation in STEM] Summit. – My company, HireRite Services, hosted a 3-day masterclass for jobseekers with Aderonke Salami sharing her expert insights. – Started my mentorship community to empower others to achieve financial freedom through the forex space. Now, most of them earn a massive income of millions of naira from it, weekly. – Hosted five hangouts through my community, Grow & Groove with Peter (GGP) Community: three in Lagos, and one each in Port Harcourt and Abuja. – Grew my LinkedIn community to 69,000+, and I can't thank you for your love and continuous support you have shown me. There were also times I struggled: 😢 – Had imposter syndrome. – Lost some huge gigs due to my health. – My health broke down twice. – Lost some money on an investment. In these times, I never regretted any of the decisions I made. Instead, I learned some valuable lessons and made discoveries that have positioned me to become an even better version of myself this year. As we start this year, find the courage to bet on yourself, the strength to embrace new beginnings, and the resolve to keep growing, no matter what life throws your way. 💪🏾 Take a moment to reflect on your journey in 2024. 🤔 How can you commit yourself to becoming an even better version of yourself this year? Make yourself a priority. 📌 Remember, every small step of growth counts in the journey to success. 👌🏾 Wishing you a prosperous and fulfilling year ahead. Here’s to creating a brighter, stronger future! 🥂 #careers #entrepreneurship #personaldevelopment #community

✨ New Year, New Opportunities – Welcome, 2025! ✨ 2024 was a year of incredible challenges and immense growth, both personally and professionally. What carried me through was the unwavering support of the people around me—family, friends, and partners who share a vision for a brighter future. This past year, I deepened the relationships that matter most and forged connections rooted in trust, purpose, and community impact. To everyone who walked with me on this journey, thank you for believing in me and for building with me. Your trust, insights, and collaboration have been the foundation of everything we’ve achieved and the springboard for all we will accomplish in 2025. A few special mentions: YJ Lin: You’ve redefined what it means to build community and brought me into a network of like-minded changemakers. Your connections, mentorship, and friendship are a gift I cherish. Nunu F. and Olu Villasa and the Black Entrepreneurship Alliance: You’ve been instrumental in integrating swiirl into an ecosystem that uplifts Black entrepreneurs in Canada. Your work inspires me to be an example of purposeful innovation and exponential growth fuelled by your incredible support. Kayla Sousa, Ignacio Mongrell, Melisa Ellis, and Laura Scarlett Martin 🚀: Your support through ICUBE UTM and Nobellum opened doors I didn’t know existed, connecting Swiirl with opportunities that truly amplify our mission. Michelle Fedorowich: Your brilliance and trust unlocked collaborations with the incredible talent at Toronto Metropolitan University, proving the power of institutional partnerships. Daniel Mohanrao and Michael H.: My co-founders and fellow visionaries. Daniel, you’ve been a guiding star in my career, from our early days at FedEx Office to co-building Swiirl. I owe so much of my journey to your mentorship and example. You are my North Star. This work is deeply personal to me. From my roots in Pramso, Ghana, to my upbringing in Toronto, where community programs and school systems unlocked my potential—community has always been my foundation. My first trip back to Ghana in September 2024 was a transformative moment. Reconnecting with my heritage alongside my mother reinforced my mission: to create opportunities across the ecosystem, from North America to Africa and the global Diaspora. As I step into 2025, I am driven by this vision: - Building bridges that uplift those often left behind across cultural, socioeconomic, and geographic lines. - Creating opportunities for future generations who prove time and again that all they need is a chance. - Unlocking the potential of technology as an equalizer and nurturing trust as the currency of meaningful partnerships. To my network: Thank you for standing with me during tough times, and for celebrating the wins. Let’s make 2025 a year of collective growth, problem-solving, and impact. Together, we can create the opportunities we had—or wished we had—for those who follow. Much love, Kay

Senior Product Manager at ServiceTitan | World Championship of Public Speaking Quarterfinalist

A lot can change in a year! In 2023 I spent a lot of time at networking events, in LinkedIn DMs and on calls, trying to find “product market fit” as a public speaking coach. Ultimately though, it was a lot more planting seeds than actual coaching. Fast forward to 2024 all the relationship building paid off and I had the privilege of working with over 250 entrepreneurs and corporate professionals from some amazing organizations like; DMZ, Nobellum, Black Founders Network, Black Entrepreneurship Alliance, Fintech Cadence, makingTheMove, LiftOff by CCAWR, Entrepreneurs Point, Federation of Black Canadians, African Impact Initiative I’m also extremely passionate about helping youth to build their confidence and I got to deliver public speaking workshops at Fraser International College (my alma mater), Upper Canada College and (HTS) Holy Trinity School. Thank you to every single one of you that’s allowed me to support you and your communities in 2024 on our journey to becoming more confident and effective storytellers. Looking forward to 2025! 📸 : Lucky Osunbiyi 🙏🏾
