It was another one for the books. Media Profile’s legendary holiday party is known among media and our clients as the season’s must-attend event. The annual bash originated in the 1980s to celebrate our hard work with the people and partners who make our jobs so rewarding. Our relationships define us – be it our clients who really are our partners, the media whose jobs are much harder (and busier) than ever, creators and a few politicians. This year’s event, which was referred to in the Toronto Star once as the city’s “most crashable corporate party” (don’t think about it – our lists and door are carefully managed), was one of the most celebratory in recent memory. Thank you to all who came to celebrate an amazing year.

The Home Depot Canada challenged Media Profile to create a moment beyond its core spring/summer period. Canada's leading home improvement retailer went all in on owning seasonal décor with Nightmare on Queen Street - a Friday the 13th Halloween takeover of the Campbell House Museum on the corner of Queen & University. This eye-catching, immersive event was a draw for media and influencers and nearly 4000 public guests who got to be horrified, delighted and inspired to make this Halloween more frightening than ever. Indeed, it took a village, but we did it with our client team and their extended merchant, design and distribution partners. The earned media and influencer coverage was incredible and the public impact was overwhelming. People started capturing photos and video from the moment our first 12-foot Skelly was set up and didn't stop until the space was cleared.
