We’re thrilled to celebrate the topping-off of the Royal BC Museum’s PARC building in Colwood, BC! Kalesnikoff was honoured to supply mass timber for this milestone project, built on the traditional lands of the Lekwungen Peoples. The 15,200 square metre building, designed by Michael Green Architecture, features the extensive use of mass timber construction. One of the largest active projects in BC — Royal BC Museum's new Collections and Research Building (CRB) is slated to open in 2026. The facility will safely house invaluable collections and archives, as well as providing learning spaces and enhanced access to these resources for all British Columbians. A huge thank-you to Infrastructure BC, the Royal BC Museum, Maple Reindeers, and all partners for their collaboration. Congratulations to everyone involved in this inspiring project!
