This holiday season, we are partnering with the Yonge Street Mission (YSM) and Daily Bread Food Bank to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Toronto’s most vulnerable residents. Owners, Residents and Staff made a difference by donating toys, clothes and food. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude for the generous donations and sharing your kindness. Together we are building a stronger, more caring community. Thank you once again for your generosity! Happy Holidays Everyone!

  • We’re pleased to be attending The Condo Conference with several members of our management team representing ICE Condominiums and sharing the unique benefits of our employed management approach. Opportunities for professional development, like this one, are a key part of our ability to serve our community and attract and retain some of the best professionals in our industry.

  • Here are some of the tools in our tech stack, which are overlooked within the condominium industry. We've implemented these and enhanced team effectiveness and resident service: we highly recommend them to other condominiums. Front: unified team inbox. Allows internal discussions about emails, assigning emails to specific team members, sharing draft responses, online chats, and public knowledge base. Float: corporate credit cards. Assign and monitor spend through a controlled platform. We no longer have petty cash and are able to pay vendors quickly and to purchase online goods without issue. Accountability and controls features are great, and Float just announced bill pay and reimbursement features coming soon too! Skedda: amenities reservations. Flexibility and UI were far better than other condominium-specific platforms we tried. Residents find it very easy to use and alleviated a significant workload on our admin team. Squarespace: for our condominium's website: tscc2510.ca Square: credit card payments. No more bank drafts or cash: residents and owners enjoy the convenience of being able to purchase items or pay non-recurring fees (like cost chargebacks) by credit card. Jotform: forms and other data collection, including electronic signatures and credit card payments.

  • Condo corporations have a large role in the continued development of the condominium management profession. We advocate for bringing new talent with broad backgrounds to the industry: several professionals have got their start as condominium managers at ICE. By offering a good work environment (emphasis on accountability, delegating authority downward, and specialization) and challenging industry expectations, we are attracting more people to the profession and overcoming the industry's problematic shortage of registered condominium managers. If you're an industry participant: would love to hear how your business is helping grow our industry and attract talent.
