As the year draws to a close, the Greenwin team gathered to celebrate a remarkable 2024 at our annual holiday party, hosted at Dragon Pearl. The event was a reminder of the strong sense of community that defines our organization. The festivities included a delicious lunch, during which Kevin Green, our President and CEO, shared heartfelt words reflecting on the accomplishments and milestones we’ve achieved together. This year has been one of significant growth and development, as we continue our mission of creating inclusive housing opportunities and building thriving communities. Adding to the festive atmosphere, team members donned their most eye-catching holiday sweaters for our annual Ugly Sweater Contest. One lucky winner took home a pair of Raptors tickets! Since 1948, Greenwin has been committed to providing homes where communities can flourish. This year’s holiday celebration was a moment to reflect on our journey and look forward to what’s ahead. Here’s to an exciting 2025! #Greenwin #GreenwinCares #HolidayParty https://lnkd.in/gGYqAX54

This holiday season, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible residents, team members, and partners who make Greenwin home. This year, we’ve come together to show our appreciation through meaningful events and initiatives from community murals to festive events and sustainability initiatives. Through Greenwin Cares, we’ve worked to sustainably combat food insecurity with vertical farming, support youth through before and after school programs, create employment opportunities, and more. These efforts reflect our belief that our work is about more than buildings—it’s about creating spaces where communities flourish for generations to come. As we celebrate milestones like the groundbreaking at 50 Wilson Heights, we’re making exciting progress on our development projects and are excited for what’s to come as we continue building happy, thriving communities where people feel supported and connected. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful and peaceful holiday season. #HappyHolidays #GreenwinCommunity #BuildingTogether #GreenwinCares

At Greenwin, we believe that property management is about more than buildings—it’s about building community. In a recent Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) FE Magazine article, Greenwin’s Director, Communications, Jessica Green, highlighted how Greenwin’s community-first mindset transforms rental spaces into thriving neighbourhoods. One example? A vibrant mural project in Hamilton, where residents, local artists, an enthusiastic client, and our dedicated Community Engagement Manager, Ossana Ber, came together to create something extraordinary. Through shared creativity, we fostered a sense of belonging that goes beyond the walls of a property. Why do we do it? Because engaging with residents isn’t just good for ESG metrics—it drives loyalty, reduces turnover, and strengthens the fabric of our neighbourhoods. Check out Jessica's article, "The Business of Giving Back," to learn how community initiatives like this benefit residents and drive business growth.
