Big news for Starboard! 🚢 We’re thrilled to share that Starboard has secured $5.5M in funding, led by Eclipse, with continued support from Everywhere Ventures and our friends at Garuda Ventures. This is a giant leap forward in Starboard’s mission to transform global trade with AI-powered logistics solutions. Global trade is a $25 trillion industry, yet its backbone—freight forwarders—still rely on manual processes that limit efficiency and growth. Starboard is changing that by automating real-time shipment processing, document generation, and invoicing. This cuts down on operational costs by up to 50% and helps businesses compete in an increasingly complex ecosystem. Since launching its AI-powered platform, Starboard has grown shipment counts and is on track to reach $2M ARR in 2025. Recent milestones include the launch of the Starboard Control Tower, which streamlines shipment operations, automates data entry, and simplifies global trade for freight forwarders. The $225B global freight forwarding industry operates mostly with little or no technology. Now, it's is going to take a special kind of founder to disrupt this industry, which is why we were thrilled to partner with Sumeet. He has lived and breathed supply chain and logistics for the last 15 years across Maersk, RIVIGO, BCG, and most recently Flexport, where he served as GM for Canada. His understanding of the nuances of the market, the pain points across each constituent in the industry, and his bold vision for where the industry is heading over the next 10 years is the exact type of powerful combination we look for when we back founders.
