First Capital's most valued asset are our people. As the core of everything we do, we invest in people who are passionate and dedicated in their work. Josee Laverdiere is one of FCR's property managers who has been with us for just over a year and a half. Based in Brossard, we asked Josée to share about her experience, here's what she has to say about her time at First Capital: "Ma gestionnaire a été la plus grande raison de mon intérêt pour cet emploi lors de mon entrevue en 2023. Ensuite viens le fait de travailler une entreprise humaine, mettant en avant plan le succès des employés sans parler des nombreux avantages et bénéfices. First Capital, c’est une belle grande famille diversifiée où il est bon de grandir professionnellement." "My manager was the main reason why I was interested in this job when I did the interview in 2023. Next comes working for a caring company that puts the success of its employees first, not to mention the many benefits. First Capital is a nice, big, and diversified family where it’s good to grow professionally." To learn more about starting your career with us, visit: https://fcr.ca/careers/

First Capital REIT's collaboration with RBC exemplifies the importance we place on working together toward shared climate goals. We understand that aligning our efforts with tenants will be critical to making meaningful progress on #decarbonization while at the same time advancing broader business priorities and strengthening the landlord-tenant relationship.
Landlords are a significant stakeholder in our journey to reduce emissions and that’s why I’m excited to share that RBC will be collaborating with First Capital REIT with respect to the decarbonization of commercial retail properties. As a major landlord that operates several RBC branch locations, the collaboration with First Capital is important in addressing RBC’s operational emissions controlled by landlords, and a signal to the marketplace that this should be a priority. I anticipate engagement like this will help drive more climate action in the real estate sector. First Capital and RBC have agreed to prioritize the installation of lower emissions generating HVAC equipment across their leased spaces through the process of #electrification. This collaboration supports both organizations in their goal to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Melissa Ferrato Jennifer McLaughlin Joseph P.
