  • ❓ Did you know that industrial products, such as cutting tools, drill bits, and machine wear parts, are the principal drivers of global tungsten demand? Mactung is the world’s largest undeveloped high-grade deposit of tungsten. Its scale and contained metal establish it as a strategic critical mineral project capable of reliably supplying much of North America’s expected demand across all sectors.

We’re thrilled to announce a major milestone for Fireweed Metals! The U.S. Department of Defense and the Government of Canada are co-investing ~C$35.4 M to support Fireweed’s critical minerals projects and associated infrastructure at Macmillan Pass, Yukon Territory. 🔹 US$15.8M (~C$22.5M) has been awarded by the U.S. Department of Defense under Title III of the Defense Production Act to move our Mactung tungsten project toward a final investment decision. 🔹 Up to C$12.9M is expected from Canada’s Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund (CMIF), pending final due diligence, to lead the planning of essential road and power upgrades that will support the entire district. These coordinated investments from both governments underscore the strategic importance of Fireweed’s mineral assets and their shared determination to unlock the full potential of the Macmillan Pass critical minerals district. This milestone demonstrates the growing recognition of our projects as key to strengthening North America’s critical mineral supply chains. At Fireweed, we remain dedicated to advancing our projects and infrastructure responsibly—respecting the rights of Indigenous groups, delivering tangible benefits to local communities, and setting a benchmark for responsible mineral development. • NEWS ALERT Holes at the eastern margin of Boundary continue to push the extents of known mineralization 200 m along strike from the currently defined resource. These last holes for the 2024 campaign mark the end of a highly successful season. Fireweed is looking forward to continuing to unlock the district potential at Macpass. Highlights: Hole NB24-015 from 29.81 metres (“m”) downhole: 63.54 m of 6.08% zinc (“Zn”), 0.89% lead (“Pb”), and 10.7 g/t silver (“Ag”), including 2.75 m of 12.71% Zn, 0.31% Pb, and 24.8 g/t Ag; and 5.13 m of 30.63% Zn, 7.83% Pb, 40.3 g/t Ag (3.9 m true width). Hole NB24-013 from 21.98 m downhole: 65.92 m of 5.09% Zn, 0.42% Pb, and 15.3 g/t Ag, including 38.88 m of 6.58% Zn, 0.49% Pb, and 18.9 g/t Ag, also including 6.18 m of 18.91% Zn, 0.07% Pb, and 37.3 g/t Ag; and including 2.53 m of 27.03% Zn, 4.57% Pb, and 34.7 g/t Ag (1.9 m true width). Significant concentrations of germanium and gallium are associated with sphalerite mineralization (included within the full results in Table 1). • Our latest drill results from Tom South at Macpass have delivered the highest-grade and nearest-to-surface intercept identified in this area to date. Hole TS24-002 intersected 15.12 m (10 m true width) grading 10.39% Zinc, 18.10% Lead, and 296.9 g/t Silver, including an exceptional 8.15 m (5.4 m true width) of 12.76% Zinc, 22.44% Lead, and 361.4 g/t Silver. This result has three important implications for Tom South: 1. The potential to upgrade Inferred resources to Indicated. 2. The potential to increase grades in the area. 3. Significant resource growth potential, with 200 m of prospective space remaining up-dip towards some of the best intercepts historically drilled at Tom. Tom South continues to deliver substantial upside with higher grades, improved continuity, and an increased weighting of silver in the commodity mix, further highlighting the exceptional potential of the Macpass District.
