For seven years now, the mine management team at our Casa Berardi operation has proudly grown their mustaches for a good cause, raising funds to benefit the Maison St-André Abitibi-Ouest. This year, thanks to the generosity of employees, contractors, and suppliers, they raised a record high CAN $20,611. The funds will be used to purchase Christmas baskets and provide food assistance to low-income people in West Abitibi. Thank you to all who contributed. The involvement of our employees and partners makes a real difference in every #community where we operate. For the mining industry, he explained that the increased usage of AI could result in operational efficiencies through enhanced collection and real time analyzation of very large data sets to assist decision making at sites. Our culture of #innovation means we are continually applying innovative practices and testing new technologies across our operations. On National Miner’s Day, we honor the skill, hard work, and dedication of all miners who have worked for Hecla over our 133-year history. Our economy depends on mining. Everyone should take a moment to think about the ways that miners play a role in our daily lives. They produce the precious metals that are critical to so many things we depend on every day and to power the growing renewable energy sector. #NationalMinersDay #miningjobs #mininglife
