You have to know yourself well enough to extract the parts that best serve your business. It’s clear we’re seeing the rise of founder-led marketing. If you’ve always been behind the scenes as a founder until now, 2025 is your year to leverage yourself for your organization and businesses growth. Personal branding isn’t just for Mark Zuckerburg. You can build one and benefit too. 🎥 This video is from my closing keynote at the Startup Canada Tour finale in Kitchener-Waterloo on The Power of Personal Branding for Founders. Advising CEOs, Founders, and Leaders to Craft Award-Winning Podcasts & Future Narratives that Define Categories and Drive Lasting Impact.

Last week, I had the pleasure of recording an episode of The Business Leadership Podcast with the amazing Daniel Francavilla at the CreatorClub Podcast Studio. 🎙️ Our conversation was centered around branding—a timely discussion as my upcoming book, Future Narrator, provides guidance for Founders and CEOs on building a thought leadership platform that aligns with their future narrative. Recording in a professional studio was an inspiring experience. It’s something I’ve been manifesting for the new year—a plan to expand my work and create my own podcast studio (or maybe even partner with someone… hint hint). Manifestation is a process, and this session was a reminder of the power of aligning vision with action. Huge thanks to Daniel and Creator Club for the opportunity! What’s something you’re manifesting for the new year? I’d love to hear your vision! #FutureNarrator #ThoughtLeadership #Podcasting #Branding #Leadership #PersonalBranding #Entrepreneurship #Manifestation

Brand Strategist, Marketing Advisor, Founder, Educator, Changemaker | Social Good, Storytelling & Startups

It’s a bit meta posting about a podcast about personal branding and thought leadership right here on LinkedIn, but I’ve gotta practice what I preach by sharing my story and expertise along the way. This week I had a chance to reflect on my career so far in entrepreneurship, education and social good, and what I’ve learned so far, as a guest on a podcast. Everything I’ve done comes back to creating positive impact, leveraging creativity and building meaningful connections, it seems. Here’s 5 takeaways as a teaser of what we discussed on the episode if you’re looking to step up your presence and grow in 2025: 1️⃣ Take a brand-first approach. That includes investing upfront in long-term success for your business by clearly defining your mission, vision, and values and investing in brand from day one — something I’ve found essential for building trust and creating connections with audiences. (This can get overlooked with a push for immediate ROI and performance marketing, which unfortunately is often focused on short-term wins only). 2️⃣ As it’s been top of mind lately with my work and talks, I also highlighted the value of founder-led marketing, encouraging more leaders to use their personal brands to amplify their organization’s story authentically. 3️⃣ Edwin also asked me how I’ve tried to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry. Continuous learning has been pivotal in my own journey — whether through podcasts, audiobooks, attending conferences, or even teaching. I believe curiosity and adaptability are the keys to thriving (especially in this field). Plus, cross-pollinating ideas across sectors and building meaningful networks helps us to stay sharp and be ready to evolve. 4️⃣ For those looking to build their own brands, I shared a few tips like: 👉 Start small by defining your core values and identifying your target audience. 👉 Embrace storytelling and begin sharing your journey, even if it’s just through LinkedIn posts or articles. 👉 Commit to regular content creation and allow your brand to grow and adapt over time. 5️⃣ Building a brand of any kind is about playing the long game. It’s investing in relationships, staying curious, and creating a foundation that can sustain and grow over time. Start with your story — it’s the most powerful tool you have. 🙏 Thank you to Edwin J. Frondozo for having me on The Business Leadership Podcast, and congrats on your continued success with the show over all these years. 🎙️ The episode doesn’t come out until January, but follow or subscribe in the meantime for Edwin’s other episodes. 🎥 Shoutout to Mark for the fresh studio setup at CreatorClub. 🟠 Did you know The Intersection is a weekly newsletter where I share stories, lessons and relevant reflections? If you're a founder getting zero media hits, listen up 📣 We've got 4 tips on how to get closer to the press from Lauren Arnold of Category Communications—even if you don’t (yet) have the budget for a PR team: 💡 Embrace the cringe. Start sharing your story, even if it feels uncomfortable. Post about what you’re building, your wins, and your lessons on LinkedIn—just get out there. 💡 Optimize your LinkedIn. Journalists are checking founder profiles. Use yours to tell your story and engage authentically. 💡 Build relationships. Follow journalists who cover your industry, read their work, and engage with their content. Show them you’re paying attention. 💡 Do your research. Before pitching, dive into the stories journalists have already written. Understand their style and what they value in a story. Want the full breakdown? Only 3% of women-owned businesses make it to 7-figures. When I launched She's Interesting, my goal was simple: to capture the stories of the women who make up that 3%. Not just to celebrate their success—but to create a guidebook for every woman dreaming of following in their footsteps. This journey has been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my life. I've had the privilege of sitting down with incredible founders, investors, and leaders who have shared not just their wins but their grit, their setbacks, and the lessons they’ve learned along the way. This #WomensEntrepreneurshipDay, I’m celebrating every woman who said yes to sharing her story. Because behind every inspiring founder is: 🌱 A dream that started with just belief. 💔 A moment when quitting felt easier than continuing. 💥 A breakthrough that changed the game. ⏳ Proof that success doesn’t have an expiration date. 🎂 Evidence that you’re never too young—or too old—to start. 📖 A lesson she learned the hard way so someone else wouldn’t have to. In a world where women are losing their rights, I'm here to uplift women. Because supporting women is good for the economy, our communities, and our future. 🔗 Subscribe and join the community. So, here’s to the incredible women who’ve made shh!t happen and their stories on She’s Interesting—trailblazers shaping the future for all of us. 🙌✨ Arati Sharma Samantha Diamond Tiffany Janzen Eva Lau Sigute Zitikyte Fatima Zaidi Sarah Stockdale Haley Bogaert Zoey McKenzie Lisa Bilyeu Pauline Peck Mary Young Eva C. A year ago I had the opportunity to support Ronald McDonald House Charities through some content with CreatorClub. This week they’re celebrating 20 years of the RMHC Toronto School, one of the unique features we highlighted in this video filmed at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto location. There is no cost to attend as it’s supported by donations. This private school is for patients and siblings of patients who are staying at the House. It teaches students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 and is recognized by the Ministry of Education. A warm and supportive learning environment, it’s flexible and used to working with complicated treatment and appointment schedules. It was great to visit and highlight this important resource in our community through this video series. / CreatorClub, Jamine, Valentina, Jessica, Lauren, Lauren, Stephanie

While Canada has an abundance of engineers, we're facing a critical shortage of marketing and business development experts...👇 To effectively capitalize on our scientific innovations and take them global, we need more talent focused on go-to-market strategy and international expansion. In our interview with Tyler Meredith, former economic and fiscal advisor to Justin Trudeau, we dive into why many Canadian entrepreneurs feel the need to leave the country to access the capital and skills required to scale up. Building businesses worth building.

Creating content that helps the community — our core values coming to life. One of the highlights from our collaboration with Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House was working on their special campaign last month which supported The Grocery Foundation's Toonies for Tummies — from strategy to execution. Why was this impactful? Because it marked a milestone in Stacked's ongoing commitment to improve student well-being. It was great to see that for every stack of pancakes sold, franchisees donated $1, and the head office matched it with another $1, doubling the donation impact. Being part of this community-driven effort reminds us why we do what we do. Stacked continues to play a role in combating childhood hunger and building stronger communities across Canada. As an agency, we're proud to support them in that mission. King Street Media | CreatorClub

🎉 WAHOO! Our first episode from Elevate's podcast studio is out. It was my absolute pleasure to run this podcast studio and witness this recording live. Shout out to King Street Media for being my partners in this! Here's the latest Tank Talks episode featuring Dax Dasilva, founder of Lightspeed and Age of Union, hosted by Matt Cohen! 🎙️ Dax's journey from bootstrapping Lightspeed to leading it through a billion-dollar IPO is truly inspiring. Here's my favourite quote from the episode: "The journey is the reward, Steve Jobs. You know, I think you can't be so fixated on what, I'm only going to be happy when we get here. I can tell you from all the different stages of all the different projects, and especially Lightspeed, that you have to enjoy the journey. There's no golden age to have been at Lightspeed. It's always an amazing moment. Like, enjoy the journey. That's what it's about." Here are 5 key takeaways from the conversation: 1️⃣ Embrace change: Dax emphasizes the importance of "throwing away your job description" every year to adapt and grow. 2️⃣ Balance growth and profitability: Lightspeed's success came from finding the right equilibrium between expansion and financial stability. 3️⃣ The power of bootstrapping: Dax credits Lightspeed's early bootstrap years for building a strong foundation and customer focus. 4️⃣ Spirituality in leadership: Meditation and spiritual practices have been crucial for Dax in managing multiple roles and projects. 5️⃣ Entrepreneurial thinking beyond tech: Dax applies startup DNA to conservation efforts, showing how entrepreneurship can drive positive change in various fields. Stay tuned, as the episodes from our podcast studio come out, I'll be posting takeaways from each one because honestly, they're all GEMS! 💎 PS. Check the comments for the link to the FULL episode! #TankTalks #ElevateFest2024 #podcastepisode
