David and Joyce Milgaard’s Law received Royal Assent on December 17, 2024. This law will establish an independent commission dedicated to reviewing miscarriage of justice applications. https://lnkd.in/g-8xPf9T The adoption of Bill C-40 is an important milestone in establishing a commission which will make it easier and faster for potentially wrongly convicted individuals to have their cases reviewed. #BillC40
