2024 Giving wrap: This year, Beyond Insurance supported 19 charities, donated an impressive $16,003, and contributed over 116 volunteer hours! 2024 has been a remarkable year for Beyond Insurance, filled with impactful contributions, a focus on wellness, and meaningful community partnerships. Our partnership with Vantage Community Services stood out as a cornerstone of our community efforts. Whether it was volunteering at their golf tournaments, sponsoring the Donut Cupid Fundraiser, or lending support to their initiatives, we worked side by side to create positive change. Beyond this, we deepened our commitment to The Outreach Centre sponsoring events like their Virtual Lip Sync Battle and hole-in-one challenges to help grow programs that serve families and individuals in need. 2024 Wellness wrap: Wellness, Giving, Inclusion, and Connection This year, Beyond Insurance continued to make wellness, giving, inclusion, and connection a way of life. From yoga sessions and Wellness Movement Mornings with Stride Physio, to supporting mental health initiatives and environmental projects like Green Deer, we fostered physical, mental, and emotional well-being across our team and community. We prioritized diversity, equity, and inclusion and engaged DEI expert, Tynan Allan from CultureING at our annual Staff Summit. We sett clear goals to create an equitable workplace culture that values every individual. This focus aligns with our broader mission to support our team and communities inclusively and equitably. A special highlight this year was our family-oriented happy hours and office events, where our team brought their kids to join the fun! These gatherings created a welcoming space for connection, laughter, and celebration, strengthening our workplace culture and sense of belonging. Wellness, giving, inclusion, and family connection are at the heart of who we are, driving our mission of compassion and support for healthier, happier futures. But I’ve come to realize how these small moments can create meaningful impact. This challenge was a reminder of the values I strive to live by—generosity, community, and connection. That’s a wrap for November! Here’s how we’ve lived out our values this past month 🫶🏼: Continuous Improvement: Morgan and Corey from Sable Creative joined us for a morning of photos and video content creation. We look forward to bringing you key industry insights and tips through this new video series. Respect: The gentlemen at our office grew mustaches and raised funds for Movember. Matt was also happy to attend the Chambers Business of the Year awards and cheer on the finalists. Generosity: We sponsored the Virtual Lip Sync Battle in support of the Outreach Centre this year and were lucky to be able to cheer on the performances at the live event. In addition, we donated silent auction items to the Rotary Black Tie Bingo and attended the event. Connection: Our monthly team wellness event was to shop for, cook, and serve dinner at the Ronald McDonald House. This is a much-loved giving event and our 2nd time doing it. We look forward to making this an annual tradition. Wellness: Brittany from Stride joined us again for Movement Minute! We love this 30minutes of intentional movement once a month led by Brittany!
