United Way Central Alberta tackles #UNIGNORABLE issues in Central Alberta like poverty, domestic violence and mental health. We partner with volunteers, businesses, and social agencies to improve lives and build community throughout Central Alberta. We do this by: Investing in a wide array of human service agencies that help local people transition from dependence to independence, and improve their quality of life. Working with community partners to find long-term solutions to social issues. Providing leadership and support to the non-profit sector, helping agencies operate more effectively and make the best use of resources. Providing a way for people to get involved in the community and make a difference.

Amazing! Staples Canada raised a whopping $13,601 this year for Tools for School in Central Alberta. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated, your efforts assisted children in our region to attend school with the materials necessary to succeed. Staples in Olds was a big part of this success and pictured here are Graeme Gordon and Kamran Saeed, who accepted our 'Everyday Hero' Award at our Touchdown Celebration in April. Thank you, Staples!
